A beggar on the Island area of Lagos has shocked pedestrians and motorists with an usual action that has left them confused.

The beggar using his phone

A beggar was spotted on the side of the road in Eletu Ogabi street in Victoria Island, Lagos, going through his phone and making calls.

According to an eye witness who took the photo, the beggar's device looked like a smartphone.

The beggars act has left many wondering about his real status.
