Self-proclaimed Common Sense Senator, Ben Murray-Bruce is stirring up a new conservation on Twitter as regards solutions to the problems of Nigeria.

Last week, the Bayelsa politician called out the 73-year-old President Muhammadu Buhari for his comments in the Telegraph UK, and now he is taking a critical look at the average age of people in public offices, comparing them with what is obtainable in the United Arab Emirates.

“His Highness, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, PM of the United Arab Emirates just announced a cabinet dominated by youths,” the senator began, adding, “A number of the ministers in the 29 man cabinet are under 40, including Shamma Almazrui who is 22.”

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum who is the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE is 66-years-old, but his cabinet is dominated by young people, most of whom have encouraged growth and development in the Arabian country. Over the course of twenty years, the UAE has risen to become a favourite hotspot, with multinationals moving to the middle east country, while Nigerian politicians are famous for buying properties and vacationing in its luxurious city, Dubai.

Today, Murray-Bruce, 66, has called for the total reshuffling of the Nigerian cabinet, adding that until that is done, development and growth will remain a dream. He also cited a top politician who refused to pave way for the younger ones. In addition to that, without mentioning the president, he named former Heads of State who immensely improved the nation when they were young.
