Omg! Meet The World's Longest Rabbit Who Is The Same Size As the Average 7-Year-Old Child (Photos)

The longest bunny in the world has been found out and it's length as well as its weight will surprise you.

This is Jeff (seen above) the world's biggest bunny. Grunting gently, ears pricked bolt upright, the Easter bunny is in his element. Supporting the 4ft 5in, 3st rabbit – the size of an average seven-year-old child – on one’s thighs is no mean feat.

According to Daily Mirror, the 18-month-old Continental Giant has just overtaken the Guinness World Record holder – his dad, Darius.

But both are about to be eclipsed by Jeff’s baby sister, Enya, who at five months already stands proud at a gigantic 3ft 3in and is on course to be the planet’s first five-footer.

Annette has been breeding supersize bunnies for 10 years and credits their growth with a secret ingredient: broccoli stalks.

And the occasional Rich Tea. She says: “They are wonderful creatures and I love them all dearly.

"They each have their own characters and are very bright. They act more like dogs than rabbits.

“They exercise and eat healthily – you can’t feed them rubbish and expect them to be healthy. A fat rabbit is a heart attack waiting to happen.”

Each day Jeff ploughs through nearly a kilo of organic hay, a carrot, broccoli stems, sunflower seeds and two dog bowl-sized portions of barley.

Both Jeff and Darius are insured, and their cages have coded locks to prevent thieves from breaking in and selling them on the black market.
