Police Kill Member of Breast-Sucking Gang Terrorizing Women

A member of a criminal gang that has been harrassing and torturing women has been killed by the police who are still on the hunt for the others.

Police in Mombasa have reportedly gunned down a suspected gangster of the notorious Wakali Wao gang that has been terrorising women in the coastal region.

According to reports by Kenyans , the suspect was on Friday cornered at Hongera area after his efforts to escape failed, with security agents indicating they were hot on the heels of 10 other gangsters.

Kisauni deputy OCPD Walter Abondo noted that the suspects had robbed two women headed to Kongowea market.

Victims of the gang say that the members rob from residents and in case women have no money or valuables they are stripped naked and their breasts sucked.

“If they don’t find you with any cash or valuables including phones, they will undress you, suck your breasts regardless of whether you are a lactating mother or not. They don’t care, it’s like they are possessed,” a victim said.

Coast Regional Coordinator Nelson Marwa earlier noted that the criminal group had its name from ''Wakali Wao'' to "Boma Yeye" and confirmed that it was responsible for several crime incidents in Mombasa.

“It can't continue in a civilised nation like Kenya where youths harass their sisters and mothers..it amounts to rape. It can't continue before my eyes and I have asked the County Commissioner to move on the ground..and stop the madness Boma Yeye,” Marwa said.

Marwa ordered County Commissioners to expedite investigations and arrest the gangsters instead of sitting in the office and talking tough.
