Very Graphic Photos: Bullion Van Crushes A Girl's Legs In Ghastly Accident In Warri

A witness account of how a speeding First Bank bullion van with a police escort caused a ghastly accident which condemned the two legs of an innocent girl.

According to an eye eyewitness, a ghastly car accident caused a traffic gridlock yesterday in Warri, Delta State after a speeding bullion van caused a tipper to lose control of its wheels, ramming into an innocent bystander crushing her legs in the process.

Below is the account revealed by a Nairaland user who posted the gory photos:

"I was at First Bank, UDU road branch in warri, when suddenly the bank's bullion van and police escort were coming on high speed on a wrong lane. It is a double-lane road but the bullion van was on the wrong lane with the police escort, avoiding to go and turn a few meters from the bank.

Suddenly a tipper that was coming opposite lost control because of the ruff driving of the bullion van, and the tipper trying to pave way for the bullion van lost control and crush an innocent girl's leg, damaging both legs.

Youths from nowhere came and started throwing stones into the bank, before police came and started shooting into the air.

My question is this, is the bullion van and the police escort above the law? For them to be driving on a wrong lane, the fuel consumption difference assuming the van went through the right lane would could not have been up to a litre."
