Man Shot Dead by Hunter While Hugging His Girlfriend in the Bush...You Won't Believe Why (Photo)

 

A hunter has allegedly shot a man dead and injured his girlfriend while they were making out in the bush.

 

The hunter said he shot the at the couple after mistaking them for wild boar as they cuddled.

 

According to Metro UK, the man, named only as Alexander R, 32, is facing trial in the town of Nauen, near Berlin, for negligent killing and negligent bodily harm.

 

The victim, Norman died in the arms of his Polish girlfriend Katarzyna, 24, after they were hit by the same bullet in September 2015.

 

Katarzyna required emergency surgery following the incident in Brandenburn.

 

Prosecutors said the hunter ‘violated all the rules of hunting’ when he heard rustling and fired his rifle into a field.

 

The couple had been cuddling on a blanket at the edge of a corn field when Alexander R allegedly fired at them with his 30-06 calibre rifle from an elevated tree stand, reports said.

 

The hunter said that he had seen a wild boar but investigators believe that he fired ‘blindly’ into the field.

 

 

Katarzyna said she first heard a loud bang, then saw her lover sink to the ground.

 

The bullet shred his liver.

 

Lawyer Matthias Schoeneburg, who represents Norman’s family, said that ‘the victim bled to dead within ten minutes.’

 

The bullet had such a high velocity that after exiting Norman’s body it hit Katarzyna, and came to a halt in her upper arm.

 

Alexander R had only taken his hunting test three months before the fatal shot.

 

Mr Schoeneburg said: ‘The man knew, therefore, that an off-target shot could have fatal consequences.’

 

Alexander R. insists that there was a wild boar 65 feet behind the couple, but said that the accident was quite inexplicable to him.
