7 Reasons Why Nigeria is a Very Confused Country... No 5 is So True

Posted by Thandiubani on Thu 23rd Mar, 2017 - tori.ng

Nigeria is a very vast and big country but the rulers have been making things very difficult for their people. Here are reasons why things are always going bad in the country.

President Muhammadu Buhari

1. Fulani herdsmen have slaughtered people in Agatu in Benue state, in Uzo uwani in Enugu state and as we speak, they are on rampage in a place called Zaki biam. They have slaughtered thousands.

2. The president of Nigeria assumed office without being able to provide his SSCE certificate. He instead hired 40 lawyers to defend him. Some people said they would support him even if he brought a NEPA bill in place of certificate and indeed they did. Now, he is trying to speak against certificate fraud about a senator from the opposition party whose certificate qualification is in dispute.

3. We have heard that in Ille-ife, a Yoruba land where some northerners (who struck the first blow) were killed by Yoruba men on rampage and vice versa happened, that many of the culprits were arrested. We are glad that the culprits were arrested and the forces have shown for the first time that they can be competent. But why is there criminal silence when members of other parts of the countries are killed and slaughtered? For example, for all the killings that have occurred in 1, no culprits have been apprehended.

4. Nigeria's senate president just bought a car worth 300 million when the country is in recession. I can't talk about how many lives that amount of money can help.

5. Our rulers spend good money in the name of maintaining the presidential hospital but yet, they travel to Europe and American for as little as a check up.

6. Some Nigerians think we should not complain but be patriotic and suffer in peace.

7. The list is endless.
