A young girl has managed to break free from her abductors after being forced into a car by four white men, Metro UK reports.

The girl was on her way home from Pedmore Technology College, Stourbridge, when she was approached by a man with a foreign accent.

He forced her into the back of a black taxi in Teasdale Way, Wollescote, where the other men were sitting.

They drove her between three and four miles in a 90-minute ordeal before she was able to escape. She was found in a distressed state by a member of the public who contacted police.

An alert was sent out to all schools in the area.

It said: ‘We have been made aware today of a serious incident involving the abduction of a year seven girl at a local Dudley secondary school.
‘The girl is safe and well but extremely distressed. The abduction involved a white male with a foreign accent who pushed a girl into a black taxi with two other white men.
‘The taxi was then driven to Clent where the girl managed to escape from the men.
‘Please can you be extra vigilant in the coming days and ensure your child is not commuting alone to and from school.’

The incident happened yesterday afternoon at around 3.30pm, but the alert was only put out by local authorities today.

Inspector Colin Mattinson, from Force CID, said: ‘The young girl is assisting us with this investigation and, although upset, she has not been physically hurt.
‘We have had no reports of anything similar in the area and this would appear to be an isolated incident.
‘I understand the concern and fear that such incidents raise in the community and I would urge anyone with information to contact us on 101.’
