Arsenal boss, Arsene Wenger, has thrown up more uncertainty about his future, by saying that the FA Cup final against Chelsea could be his last as manager of the Gunners.

Arsene Wenger says Saturday's FA Cup final is about much more than him after again deflecting questions about his Arsenal future.

Wenger is out of contract at the end of the season, meaning the Wembley date with Chelsea could end up being his final game in charge after nearly 21 years at the helm.

Arsenal failed to reach the Champions League for the first time in 20 years this season, finishing fifth after failing to get the help they needed to squeeze into the top four on the final day.

But the Frenchman remained relaxed when questioned about the possibility of extending his stay at the Emirates at his press conference on Wednesday morning, reiterating previous comments that he would stay in football even if it proved not to be in north London.

Wenger previously admitted the uncertainty over his future had contributed to their struggles but he batted away further questions about a new contract on Wednesday.

"This will not be my last match anyway because I will stay, no matter what happens, in football," Wenger said.

"Will this be my last match at Arsenal? I don't know. What I want is to win the next game. I love to win and what I want is do well for my club. That's all I care about, it's not all about me.

"I want to do it just to win the cup because I think the team has addressed very well the situation on the sporting side and it would be a good crowning of what we have done in the last two months.

"They have given so much and now they really want to win something."
