A number of Nigerians of Igbo extraction have been nabbed in far Asia for having their hands soiled in the crime of drug trafficking.

Indian authorities have arrested five Nigerians for allegedly peddling drugs in Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka.
The Central Crime Branch of the Karnataka Police reportedly identified the Nigerians as Peter Offor alias Baba, Chinedueze alias Remijus Eze, Fidelis Ezeh, Nonso Joachin and Valentine Chinedu.
The CCB allegedly seized Ketamine/Crystal Meth and other articles valued at Rs 2.50 lakh from the culprits.
The articles seized included 6.4 gram Cocaine, Ketamine/Crystal Meth 0.8 gram, 14 mobile phones, 3 Passports, portable Weighing Machine and 3 two wheelers.
Police have registered a case and are investigating.
