According to a special report by Naij
, earlier on Friday, August 11, about 8 buses containing mostly young people drove to the road by the Unity Fountain in Abuja to drop youths chanting "Sai Buhari! Sai Buhari!!" in solidarity protest for President Muhamamdu Buhari.
Just immediately, the young individuals in their scores joined a group organized by the Centre for Civil Society and Justice (CCSJ) who had earlier taken over the Unity Fountain yesterday in a counter protest against another group led by Charly Boy.
It was gathered that they sang and charged towards the Charly Boy-led group chanting loudly and enthusiastically: "Sai Buhari! Sai Buhari!!"
Fortunately, the police officers present quickened to action, and formed a barricade between the pro-Buhari group and the anti-Buhari protesters standing at the East-wing of the Unity Fountain.
At this time, the anti-Buhari group numbering about 10, with their leaders, Charly Boy and Deji Adeyanju the director of the Concerned Nigerians group drove out of the Unity Fountain in a convoy of three vehicles under intense booing by the pro-Buhari group.
Meanwhile photos emerged showing some of the youths smoking publicly at the Unity fountain during the peaceful protest.
