Anambra Election: Will Andy Ubah Dump APC? Here's What the Governorship Aspirant is Saying

 

A governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) in the recently concluded party's primary election ahead of the November 18 election in Anambra state, Senator Andy Uba, has again restated his resolve not to leave the APC for any other party.

 

Addressing supporters at his campaign headquarters in Awka, on Friday, Uba said his resolve to stick and work for the party emanated from the love he has for it, describing APC as the best that had the interest of the people at heart. 

 

Agitations had been rife over plans by Uba, regarded as an influential member of the party, to dump the party with his supporters, following his disenchantment occasioned by the outcome of the party's primary election.

"APC is our party. Whatever I can do to make the party win, I will do. I have done a lot for the  party, and I will not leave it for any other political party." he stated.

 

The lawmaker also explained that President Mohammadu Buhari would need people to remain in the party to promote the change agenda as well as help the party grow in the southeast part of Nigeria, pledging his readiness to deliver.
