The opposition leader in the east African nation of Kenya has caused a stir as he calls for massive protests on election day.

Raila Odinga, the Kenyan opposition leader, on Wednesday called for mass protests on the day of the October 26 presidential election, the Agence France Presse, AFP, reports.
He has also refused to take part in the election.
“Protests will go on, on the 26th (it) will be the biggest demonstrations in the whole country,” he told a rally of thousands of supporters in a suburb of Nairobi.
