Forgetting to make out time for yourself from work can lead to disorientation, fatigue, and unwarranted bitterness.

Here are five signs work is getting under your skin.

Impatience

Getting into stressful situations at work is a given, but easily getting angry and losing your temper at people and situations are signs that you need to take a break.

Error-prone output

Making constant mistakes in assigned tasks, being indifferent and unbothered about the company and the work you produce and acting nonchalant towards official duties are signs you might be at the end of your tether and need to take some time out.

Easily fatigued

If after a few hours of work, you find yourself getting tired or you feel fatigued shortly after waking up, you need to reassess your work routine.

It could be as a result of getting insufficient sleep or not carving out time to partake in activities that help your body and mind relax.

Lack of concentration

Absent-mindedness at work, inability to focus during work hours, looking up trips and checking up friends on social media are all red flags that you are not focused on your work and need to get away for a bit.

Deteriorating health

Constant headaches, unexplainable weight loss or gain and frequently feeling under the weather may appear insignificant but they are the most obvious signs that you are in need of a break, even if for one day.

Taking a break from work doesn’t necessarily mean a long vacation or holiday, it could simply be a day’s casual leave, or going off for a few hours to let off steam.
