You Won't Believe What This Football Fan In A Wheelchair Did After His Team Scored

Posted by Samuel on Tue 20th Mar, 2018 - tori.ng

A football fan who was bound to a wheelchair has shocked spectators with his action after his team scored the winning goal.

The man was seen in a wheelchair

A video has shown the moment a Plymouth Argyle FC fan stood up to cheer his team's winning goal against Bristol Rovers – despite him being seen watching the match from a wheelchair.

In the clip, the unnamed man is seen wheeling himself down to a group of fans, before jumping out of the chair and raising his hands in the air.

He then makes his way over to the first row, where he joined in with the chants.

The clip was captured after League One side Plymouth Argyle sealed an impressive 3-2 win over Bristol Rovers on Saturday.

And it was shared by sports reporter Jak Ball, who could not believe what he saw.

He tweeted: "If this game wasn't odd enough already."

The post now has more than 1,100 retweets and 2,400 likes.

But the chair is actually thought to belong to 14-year-old fan Oscar Knight, who replied to a post shared on Facebook.

Oscar, who was also at the game, said: "It's my chair, I am a disabled 14 year old and leave my chair to one side during the game.

"This guy borrowed it.... It's called having a laugh that's all."

One viewer said after seeing the video: "That really is a miracle recovery! Absolutely brilliant."

And another added: "This is amazing. Having a great time. Clearly not his chair, just having a laugh."
