Governor Akinwunmi Ambode was present yesterday night at the scene of the graphic petrol fire accident that claimed many lives on Thursday.

The Governor of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode has visited the scene of the tragic accident that happened along the Otedola axis of Lagos/Ibadan expressway.
Many lives were lost in the tragic petrol fire incident and at least 54 cars burnt.
The Governor further took to his social media page to express his condolences to the families of the victims.
Ambode wrote, "very sad day. The loss of lives in an accident like today is very painful. My prayers are with the everyone affected by this tragedy."
The incident, which occurred at about 5pm, left scores of vehicles burnt while some lives were lost.
