Here Comes Nokia Lumia 535!

Microsoft on Tuesday announced the Lumia 535 -- the first smartphone under its own brand since it completed its acquisition of Nokia in April.

Nokia, once on the lips of every tech-aware Nigerians, is now Microsoft. There was no better way to introduce this change into the market than the introduction of the latest baby in the Lumia series, Lumia 535. The 5-inch Lumia 535 runs on Windows 8.1 and has 5-MP front- and rear-facing cameras.
 

The handset which coloured in green, blue,orange, black, and white  comes in 3G single SIM or 3G Smart Dual SIM versions. It will be available for sale later this month in select markets for 110 euros (N23650).

Denim, codenamed "Debian Red" during development, is the latest firmware for Lumia handsets. It offers new capabilities including 4K video, various other enhanced camera features, and a passive-listening version of the Cortana personal digital assistant.

Windows Phone currently accounts for around 9.2 per cent of Europe's smartphone operating systems, while Android dominates at 73.9 per cent and Apple holds the second highest share with 15.4 per cent, according to Kantar Worldpanel ComTech
