The woman in the clip, identified as Cindy Hahn is now suing the city where she says she was assaulted by police officers during an arrest
She was pulled over for a seatbelt violation, however, the incident escalated and she was punched in the face by an officer - while her young children watched from the car, she stated.
The footage from the incident, which took place in Carlsbad, California, appears to show Ms Hahn being hit in the face by an officer with his closed fist while she's pinned to the ground by him and another cop, New York Daily News .
