A suspected armed robber has met his untimely death in the hands of security operatives after he was killed in a shootout.

Men of the Nigeria police in Nasarawa state have gunned down a suspected armed robber known for his notoriety during a heavy shootout along Wamba Road in Akwanga area of the state.
It was gathered that the armed robber has been terrorizing residents of the area before a manhunt was launched for him and his gang members.
On seeing the policemen, the armed robber opened fire on them but was overpowered and gunned down by the security agents after heated gun battle.
His corpse was later taken away by the police as efforts are in top gear to apprehend his cohorts.
