President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered the immediate repatriation of Nigerians stranded in Russia after the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

The presidential senior special adviser on media and publicity, Garba Shehu, has disclosed this on Monday, that President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered the repatriation of Nigerians stranded in Russia after the World Cup.
 
TORI News had reported last week that no fewer than 80 Nigerians mostly men, were seeking help to return home from Russia after being stranded in the European country.
 
The stranded Nigerians were captured on camera sitting on a blue mat in front of the country's embassy in the European country.
 
Shehu who addressed correspondents in Abuja, said the president has directed Geoffrey Onyeama, minister of foreign affairs; and Hadi Sirika, minister of state for aviation, to commence the process of repatriating the Nigerians.
