International Criminal Court Invites President Buhari

The first man of the largest black nation in the world will be speaking at the International Criminal Court in Hague over a range of issues.

International Criminal court, ICC, on Monday invited President Muhammadu Buhari to address it and share his thoughts on impunity, war crimes, crimes against humanity, cases of genocide and possible ways to prevent them. 
 
In a statement disclosed in Abuja by the special Adviser to Mr President, Femi Adesina said that Buhari is the only president invited to grace the occasion. 
 
“Nigeria will be at the center-stage of global attention as President Muhammadu Buhari addresses the International Criminal Court, Tuesday, July 17, 2018. The Nigerian leader is the only President invited to grace the 20th anniversary of the adoption of the ICC Rome Statute. President Buhari will share his thoughts on the values and ideals of the Court, which was established to prevent impunity, and try cases of genocide, war crimes, aggression, and crimes against humanity”, Adeasina said.
