Massive Protest Rocks Benin City After Flood Swept 6-year-old Schoolboy Away (Photos)

Some youths of Uselu in Benin city, the Edo State capital, are currently protesting after a 6-year-old school pupil was swept away by flood while returning from school.

A Facebook user identified by Aigbovo John, has taken to the social networking platform to reveal that it was a sad day in Benin City, on Monday, July 16, as a 6-year-old boy and his mother fell in the drain at Uselu Guest House by Second Omosogie Street Junction.
 
John disclosed that the mother was luckily rescued while the six-year-old boy was taken away by the flood. The boy was said to have tripped and fallen into an uncovered drainage around Textile Mill junction.
 
 
Meanwhile, the youths of Uselu, are currently protesting after the 6-year-old school pupil was swept away by flood while returning from school.
 
The aggrieved youth claim the death wouldn’t have occurred if the big drainages in the area were well covered.
