It was a joyous event as the Presidency yesterday met with the leadership of the senate as well as the house of representatives with the details of the meeting not quite through as at press time.

President Muhammadu Buhari yesterday, 7th of October met with Senate President, Bukola Saraki, Honorable Yakubu Dogara and other principal officers of both chambers of the National Assembly.
Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo was also present in the closed door meeting which held in the presidential villa and lasted for about two hours.
Saraki in his reaction on his social media page said the meeting signifies a good working relationship between executive and legislative arms of Nigeria’s Federal Government which is a necessity for National development.
Additionally, the meeting demonstrates that the nation is working. Rumours have it that Saraki discussed his plight with the Code of Conduct Tribunal with the presidency to lobby for soft landing.
