A 23-year old mother of one met with her untimely death after she secretly visited an amateur plastic surgery clinic and booked herself in for a butt enlargement.
A 23-year old Colombian mother has died after a butt enlargement surgery went wrong and she was abandoned by doctors at A&E.
The deceased, Angie Carolina Mendoza, died from a massive heart attack following a botched operation in Barranquilla, in Atlantico, north-east Colombia.
When medics at the plastic surgery clinic realised that something had gone wrong, they drove Ms Mendoza to the local hospital before fleeing the scene.
Ms Mendoza, who is survived by her one-year-old daughter and husband James Jimenez Polo, 30, had reportedly not told her family about the surgery.
