Federal Govt. To Name Seiyefa Acting DG Of DSS After Daura's Sack

A director of the DSS from Bayelsa state, may emerge as the acting director-general of the federal government security agency.

A director of the Department of State Service (DSS) identified as Mathew Seiyefa, who hails from Bayelsa state, is set to emerge the acting director-general of the DSS, after the sack of the head of the agency, Lawal Daura, by Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo.
 
Recall that while announcing Daura's sack, the acting president, Osinbajo had asked Daura to hand over to the next in line to him in terms of seniority, and Seiyefa is reportedly next to Daura.
 
According to a report by TheCable, Seyeifa arrived at the presidential villa in Abuja in an official SUV at 4:00pm.
 
Clutching a file, the aide de camp (ADC) to the acting president, received him at the entrance to the office of Osinbajo.
