A lovely picture of an innocent child abandoned by his parents in the northern part of Nigeria has surfaced online.

Nigerian photographer, Fatima Abubakar, shared a photo of an adorable baby boy at a motherless babies home in Maiduguri, Borno State who is named after President Muhammadu Buhari.
"Children at the home are mostly abandoned by the mothers. They cared for by the dedicated nanny there and rely on generosity of people." she said.
Social media users have continued to admire the looks of the toddler and shower him with sympathy.
