A young girl has shocked her family after taking her life over an incident she had with her parents.

A 15-year old girl, Oghenevwede Michael has reportedly committed suicide after her parents were said to have reprimanded her for staying out late.
According to Vanguard, Vwede, as she is popularly called, and a Junior Secondary School 2 student was said to have died at a private Clinic in town after drinking a substance believed to be insecticide.
It was gathered that Vwede who had left home for extra moral classes, did not return home until 9pm.
“She was suppose to close by 6pm, but Vwede never came home until 9pm, a situation that even made us to look for her. When she came that night everyone was angry with her, her mother chided her and her elder brother threatened to beat her” a source who claim to be a family member to the Michael’s said.
The teenager was said to have gone to bed in tears that night, and was believed to have drank the insecticide on the morning of Tuesday.
“No one knew what she had done that morning, not until she began to complain of severe stomach ache, that was when her mother perceived the smell of insecticide from her mouth and raised alarm.
She was later rushed to the Sapele Central Hospital where she was referred to a private clinic in town where she died this afternoon.
The remains of the deceased had already been handed over to her family for burial while a source at the Sapele Police Station who craved anonymity said the case was not reported at the station.
