An ex-governor of a Nigerian state has run into a pilot whose training he sponsored during his time as governor.

Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, a former governor of Kano State and presidential aspirant under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has run into a surprise while on a flight to Abuja.
The ex-governor was stunned earlier today on board the Azman Aircraft from Lagos to Abuja when he discovered that the pilot, identified as Aminu Muhammad, was one of the persons he sponsored during his time as governor.
Aminu Muhammad was among the 100 students Kwankwaso's administration sponsored to aviation school in Jordan. Today Aminu Muhammad is a pilot with Azman air.
Senator Kwankwaso who shared the photos on Twitter, is seen looking really pleased as he shook hands with the pilot who also looked excited.
