A member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Berger Alfred Emberga has been severely dealt with by some suspected thugs in Benue state.

The former Special Assistant to the Benue State Governor (Samuel Ortom) and former State Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Berger Alfred Emberga has been left with a broken head after he was attacked last night (Saturday,18/08/2018) in North Bank, Makurdi, by some political thugs.
Hon. Alfred Emberga Berger was manhandled while on peaceful consultation for his election by thugs. He was also stripped of all his phones and personal effects. They also damaged his car.
Narrating the unfortunate incident, Berger Alfred Emberga said he was at Yagba with some party officials when the gun men numbering over Ten attacked and damaged his car, leaving him with deep wounds on his head.
The house of Assembly hopeful called on politicians to caution their supporters to desist from such overzealousness.
