Imagine yourself driving on this Terrifying bridge

You may have seen terrifying bridges before, but nothing quite as scary-looking or driving on this bridge. It is not for the faint-hearted drivers.

Eshima Ohashiin Japan

Japan's Eshima Ohashi bridge appears not for the faint-hearted drivers, located in the Chugoku region of Honshu, is the largest rigid frame bridge in Japan and the third largest in the world.  The bridge connects the cities of Matsue and Sakaiminato and appears to go straight into the sky and suddenly drop off. Built high so that fishing boats can pass underneath, the structure fortunately isn't quite as steep as it looks. All we know is we'd hate to get in a traffic jam at the top.

Nearly a mile long, the bridge has a gradient of 6.1 percent on one side and 5.1 percent on the other, according to Yahoo. Cars gradually ascend, making it less scary for drivers than the bridge appears when photos are taken from a straight-on angle. In pictures, Eshima Ohashi definitely earns its "roller coaster bridge" nickname.
