Ayo Fayose emerges victorious in Court, APC's Lawmakers suit closed

Ayo Fayose is now victorious in the law suit against him. The suit was filed by 19 APC members in the Ekiti House of Assembly against Ayo Fayose.

 
A federal high court in Lagos has thrown out the lawsuit filed by the 19 All Progressives Congress members of the Ekiti State House of Assembly against Governor Ayo Fayose and 13 other persons. 
 
PUNCH reports that after the Judge, Justice Saliu Saidu after striking out the suit also awarded a cost in the sum of N100,000 against the 19 APC lawmakers in favour of the respondents.
 
The suit had been filed to challenge the impeachment of Adewale Omirin and Adetunji Orisalade as the Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the Ekiti State Assembly respectively. 
 
The decision to strike out the suit on Thursday followed an application by the plaintiffs, dated April 7, 2015, to discontinue the case.
