Nigerians have expressed displeasure after photos of a malnourished camel spotted at a Zoo in Abuja appeared on social media.
The hungry-looking camel was pictured by a wildlife lover who couldn't believe that such an animal could be left unattended to wallow in abject hunger.
The disappointed photographer called on the government to intervene as the life of the camel is being put at risk. People have expressed disappointment with the zoo (name withheld) over the incident.

dauddsheriff@instablog9ja If they can't feed the camel why not let it go? After all we have cows strolling the streets of Abuja already, the camel would fend for itself, maybe hold a bowl and beg at traffic light is better than this sad condition...
