Senator Dino Melaye's stand as a Senator under the banner of the All Progressives Congress, APC has been cemented by an election tribunal ruling in his favour in Kogi state.
The Kogi state election Tribunal this morning, 12th of October upheld the election of Senator Dino Melaye, in a much anticipated verdict given this morning in Lokoja according to P.M news.
His election had been challenged by the former holder of the seat, Sen. Smart Adeyemi, who belongs to the Peoples Democratic Party. The petition had been dismissed before on a technical ground that it was filed out of time.
But the Federal Appeal court ruled that the case should be heard anew.
