Controversial lawmaker, Dino Melaye who decamped from the ruling APC to his former political party, PDP, is presently reconciling with his former foes.

Dino Melaye and Goodluck Ebele Jonathan

"There are no permanent enemies in politics but permanent enemies," they say.

In 2014, Senator Dino Melaye,  representing Kogi West senatorial district in Kogi State, ridiculed former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan while he was the incumbent president at the time.

Siding with the then All Progressives Congress' Presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari (RTD), Melaye tagged Jonathan a failure and even went around wearing a white shirt which had a purported scorecard of the administration of Jonathan popularly regarded as GEJ (an acronym for his three names) printed on it.

"GEJ

Corrution A1
Power     F9
Roads     F9
Health    F9
Security  F9," the disparaging message read.

Fastforward to the year 2018, Melaye fell out with the leadership of the APC and has proudly returned to his vomit. He was recently pictured with other top members of the Peoples Democratic Congress, PDP, including Senate President Bukola Saraki, visiting Jonathan at his Maitama, Abuja home where they held a political meeting.

Melaye proudly held the hand of Jonathan and posed for a picture with him which he shared on his social media accounts.
