A taxi driver is presently grateful to God after he went close to an untimely transition to the great beyond through a road accident.
The accident scene
A truck drove into a taxi at the Ekiosa axis of Sakponba in Benin City, Edo State leaving some parts badly mangled.
The taxi driver escaped death from the skins of the lion's teeth. The event caused a scene at the Sakponba area with many coming out to feed their eyes on the road accident which could have turned out bloody.

"I was driving out from GRA on my way to work early this morning in Benin city when I came across this accident scene. The taxi driver told me that he was entering second east circular from Ekiosa axis of sakponba road by EDPA when this tipper lorry coming from the ring road axis of the same road, tried to avoid a commercial, bus and ran into his Audi 80 car with reg no. AH 742 LEH. The lorry driver seems to have lost control. Thank God no life was lost.
