Shocking story of a police officer shot several times in the back after an argument.
A neighbour has been charged in connection with the fatal shooting of a Memphis police officer who was expecting his first child. Terence Olridge, 31, was shot multiple times as he left his home in Cordova, Tennessee to go to work around 1 p.m. on Sunday.
Police say the men had an encounter before exchanging gunfire on Sunday afternoon, and Olridge was struck. After the shooting, he managed to get back to his house and tried to get help. He was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition but later died.
On Monday, his neighbour, 36-year-old Lorenzo Clark, was charged with felony possession of a firearm in connection with his death, police said.
