An old woman in Isiala Ngwa South LGA in Abia state, has been empowered with a bicycle, by aide of the speaker of state House Of Assembly.
Aide to Abia Speaker empowers woman with bicycle
An aid to the speaker of Abia State House Of Assembly, has empowered a woman with a bicycle during an event which took place in Isiala Ngwa South, and attracted all the members of a personal political structure of the Speaker who gathered in celebration of it.
Although, the celebration of the gesture did not go down well with some people, as they are of the view that such action should not have been brought to social media in order to achieve a cheap political point.
A social media user, Chidinma Ubani, who posted the photo online, sacarstically urged Deputy Speaker, and all other house of assembly members in Abia State who wish to do empowerment, “to come and learn what confirm empowerment is about..”
According to him; “Some time ago, Comr Ubani Dannie, built 4 new modern houses for 4 widows in Isiala Ngwa south and till date, nobody has been called for the house opening but somebody bought a bicycle and gathered people to do mockery of the word charity and yet had the guts to snap and post it everywhere for sychophantic cheap political gains”.
