Patience, wife of former President, Goodluck Jonathan has penned down an emotional farewell speech for late Diepreye Alamieyeseigha.

The immediate past First Lady visited the home of the former Bayelsa state governor on Tuesday, October 13, to commiserate with the family, and in her message, she was said to have showered praises on the late ex governor of the state.
According to PM News in the condolence register, Patience wrote: “Daddy, on behalf of my husband, former President Goodluck Jonathan and the entire family members, we mourn you so dearly.
“We are in shock and our hearts are full of pains. Though we cannot question God, we are saying goodbye. May your gentle soul rest in perfect peace. Amen.”
Tari Okosi, who responded to Mrs Jonathan’s message on behalf of the deceased’s family, said: “We are still in shock. For now, we have not believed he has gone. Every time, we look at the gate and look at his room to see when he will come in.
“As a matter of fact, it was overwhelming when we saw the former First Lady. She is part of the family.”
The former governor was confirmed dead on Saturday, October 11, 2015 and many prominent Nigerians have since sent condolence messages to the family.
