The favoured candidate who might take over from Governor Akinwunmi Ambode has met with Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo in Lagos.
Osinbajo meets Babajide Sanwo-Olu in Lagos on Saturday
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has met with Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the favoured candidate of the Mandate Group, in the governorship primary scheduled for Sunday.
The meeting took place in Lagos. Sanwo-Olu is contesting against incumbent, Akinwunmi Ambode.
The Mandate Group is the political network linked with Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the National leader of the All Progressives Congress.
Osinbajo’s meeting with Sanwo-Olu came hours after Dr. Obafemi Hamzat stepped down for Sanwo-Olu.
