Pat Utomi Emerges Delta APC Guber Candidate In Parallel Primary

At the time of filing this report, counting of votes is going at the other primary conducted by the Jones Erue-led executive.

Political economist, Prof. Pat Utomi was, on Monday, declared winner of the Delta State governorship primary for the All Progressives Congress (APC), conducted by the Cyril Ogodo-led state executive committee.

Returning Officer for the election, Elder Favour Adibor, said Utomi polled 2,481 of the 3,755 total delegates votes, while Engr. Victor Ochei, Dr. Cairo Ojougbuoh and Chief Great Ogboru polled 801, 326 and 106, respectively, adding that three votes were voided.

Meanwhile, as at the time of filing this report, counting of votes is going at the other primary conducted by the Jones Erue-led executive.

Ogboru is in clear lead as he cleared all the 14 of the 25 LGA delegate votes so far counted.
