A man with a rare genetic condition has begged for his size 16 foot to be amputated. Jeffrey Ortega who said he experiences constant agonizing pain as a result of the malformed build of flesh at the base of his feet.
Ortega has a condition called Proteus Syndrome causing the feet to grow two times the normal size. It also causes bone, skin and tissue overgrowth with excruciating pain.

This condition is suffered by a handful of people worldwide. 26-year-old Ortega believes amputating his legs will reduce the pain as he is finding it difficult to survive. His hands, hips and legs have been affected by the condition. He lives in excruciating pain every single day and wish help will come his way soon.
