It has been reported that a young footballer has passed away in front of his teammates while participating in a training session.
The local footballer who was identified as Hyacinth Siadia from Yaounde, the capital of Cameroon, reportedly collapsed and died on the pitch during training yesterday.
Local reports show that Hyacinth's teammates thought he was joking after he collapsed 10 minutes during warm up and continued to lie down. After a while, the officials tried to resuscitate him on the pitch but it was already too late.
His corpse has been deposited at a mortuary and his family notified of the sad incident.
