The Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi on Tuesday, October 17, turned 43 and the whole palace celebrated him. His sisters were also present at the celebration.
In some pictures which have gone viral online, the Ooni of Ife appeared thrilled as his chiefs and other persons in the palace took their time to celebrate him.

Oba Enitan Ogunwusi was treated to a surprise birthday party as he had lots of cakes brought to the palace. This celebration was held on Sunday, October 15, at the palace.
One of the cakes seen in the pictures had all the traditional symbol of the Ooni of Ife on it with the name: “Arole Oduua.” The cake also had his ruling staff, royal beads, white car and other things that symbolize his throne.

Also celebrating the royal father were ex-super eagles football players. They did not come empty handed but presented to him one of the best gifts ever.
The footballers gave Ooni of Ife a customized Super Eagles jersey and also played a novelty match to celebrate the foremost Yoruba king's new age.
