Policmen in Lagos state have apprehended a notorious armed robber who has been terrorizing residents of Lagos state.

Policemen in Lagos state have apprehended a deadly car vandal that had been terrorizing car owners in Lagos state.
The suspect identified Fatai Adesina, was busted after he went to Ago area and was arrested promptly by the police.
This was confirmed by the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Imohimi Edgal, at the State Police Command.
The police boss said that on 12th October, 2018 at about 3am in the morning, the police received a distress call that robbers were operating at Community Road, Ago Palace Way and the police team led by the DPO moved in.
The robbers who came in two Toyota Camry cars had gained entrance to a Tecno phone shop through the main door by cutting all the padlocks. He were said to have disconnected the alarm and went straight to the strong room.
But as they were trying to break the strong room’s door, the police arrived, opened fire and they escaped.
However, the police managed to arrest Adesina and detained him at the police station but he was later transferred to FSARS for further investigations.
The vehicles were recovered as exhibit and parked at the police station.
CP Edgal said that the suspect will be charged to court while efforts were being made to arrest the suspects that escaped who are now at large.
