#MaidInHell: BBC Documentary Shows The Horror African Women Face As Maids In The Middle East (Watch)

Women who were excited to leave their homes in Kenya, Ghana, other Africa countries to work as maids in the Middle East thinking only of a better life, have narrated their bitter ordeals in the hands of their bosses.

An investigative report in a documentary which was exclusively released by BBC Africa Eye, have shown how maids are being treated by their Middle Eastern bosses. It’s the same in Lebanon, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia.

The video which emerged online and is making the rounds on social media, show how a victim was burned and abandoned, eventually dying from her burn wounds. Other victims also narrated their tales of abuse and harassment.
