A woman who came across a box in an alleyway while out jogging in Kirkland, Washington state has revealed a touching hand-written note from a brave boy who left his beloved cat in an alley.
The woman who was jogging saw the box and was forced to stop and take a look at what was inside it, only to find a beautiful kitten with a hand-written note tucked by its side. The note explained why the little boy who owned the kitten has decided to abandon it.
Intrigued, she decided to take a look inside and was stunned to find a tiny ginger and white kitten inside. It read: "My mommy's boyfriend is mean to me. Desperet for a loving home. (sic)"

The little boy explained in the note that his mom's boyfriend maltreated his kitten and do not want anything bad to happen to the animal that's why he is leaving it inside the box expecting someone to take care of the pet.
The woman who discovered the box took the kitten home and got it checked by a vet before taking t to a nearby MEOW cat rescue centre.
The centre in a Facebook post, thanked the woman for her kind-hearted gesture.
