Serious drama played out recently at the Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, when a student engaged his lecturer in a fight.
The fight reportedly took place during a lecture when the lecturer tried to seize the student's phone.
Local reports show that the fight began during the AFE 101 lecture when the lecturer tried seizing the phone of the 100 Level Engineering student, who strongly resisted the attempt.
The issue later degenerated into a struggle between the duo, during which both men exchanged blows. At one point, the student’s head was hit against the floor by the lecturer.
A shocking video showing the fight was shared on Instagram by @abuadfreshers, a page dedicated to posting things about freshers at Afe Babalola University.
