Ambode has called on the military to obey traffic laws of the state.

Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode has appealed to the military to comply with the state traffic and environmental laws in order to move the state forward.
Ambode stated this on Friday through his Deputy, Dr. Idiat Adebule at the Lagos House, Alausa during a courtesy visit by participants of Course 24 National Defence College, Abuja led by Brig. Gen. Mahe Bashir.
“Over the years, the military has cooperated with us but I once again seek for more cooperation in ensuring that these laws are adhered to seriously.
“We have always been partners in progress; we have always been supportive of one another.
“It is not in our character to embarrass one another; we want the partnership to continue,” He pleaded.
He also lauded the military for its support in the maintenance of law and order in the state.
’’The issue of security is very important and we want you to please continue in that trend so that together we can make Lagos the Lagos of our dreams,” he remarked.
Earlier, Mr Tunji Bello, Secretary to the State Government, revealed that the officers were on a five- day strategic study tour to understudy the internal revenue service of the state.
He said that one of the objectives of the tour was to expose participants to the socio-political economic realities of the state.
Bashir added that the participants were expected to carry out a research on selected topical issues, with a view to proffering solutions and identifying challenges.
“At the end of the tour, participants are expected to write reports and make presentations on their findings in the college on Tuesday,” Bello added.
The tour he said was ongoing in nine other states, had the theme “Internally Generated Revenue as Catalyst for Development in States: Challenges and Prospect
