Okonkwo who is also a lawyer was born in Nsukka, Enugu State on 6 November 1968.
Kenneth Okonkwo’s first marriage was in the year 2000, to Ogechi Ezekiel, the only daughter of Pastor Ezekiel, General Overseer of Christian Pentecostal Mission International. Kenneth Okonkwo’s union to Ogechi lasted barely two years and it ended in 2002.
The crashed marriage produced a son. News of the Kenneth Okonkwo divorce shook the movie industry as Kenneth had turned born-again even before they got married.
However, Kenneth Okonkwo found love again and re-married in 2007 to his present wife, Ifeoma. The couple was married for nine years before they finally welcomed their first child together at the University of Maryland, St. Joseph Medical Centre in the United States of America, on Saturday, May 7, 2016.
