Two young men alleged to be students of the Obafemi Awolowo University have been paraded half naked and brutally beaten under unclear circumstances.

Someone shared the photos on Instagram and said it happened in Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun state. However, he didn't disclose what they did to have warranted this massive torture.
Other reports have it that they must have been involved in theft as such magnitude of beating is synonymous with such a vice. In the school, the act of public beating as done here is called SMS, meaning Scientific Maximum Shishi.
It is a historical norm in the school which entails parading the culprit unclad around the school hostels.
